That got your attention didn’t it?

And rightly so, because this is exactly what it says on the tin. *Free cash* And all you have to do… is find it. Not a bad deal, eh?

Where and when, I hear you cry!

Well let’s start with a little bit of background shall we, before we get down to the nitty gritty…

So I hope you’re sitting comfortably because you’re about to feel all warm and fuzzy insideA lovely Californian real estate investor called Jason Buzi hit it big in the property game making millions of dollars selling houses in San Fransisco and wanted to share his wealth with those less fortunate than himself.

But instead of simply handing money over to charity, just over 7 weeks ago, he started an anonymous twitter account, under the handle @hiddencash, and began to hide money in envelopes around cities in America tweeting often obvious clues to their whereabouts.

Tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of happy hunters later, Buzi’s twitter-driven treasure hunt has gone viral and his modest cash giveaways have started popping up in multiple locations across the world, with money being found stashed in trees, jars and even Pez dispensers.

The hidden cash comes from straight from Buzi’s earnings as a real estate investor. “I was broke when I started doing real estate,” said the American philanthropist, who came to the U.S. from Israel when he was 12. “I made some profit… For the billionaires here in the Silicon Valley, it’s not a lot, but it’s enough for me to do some things to get people out, to give back.”

One of Buiz’s recent clues on Twitter to Pacific Beach in San Diago, California.

In addition to the cash, each money package carries a message asking the lucky finder to tweet their photo and encouragement to “pay it forward” by doing something good with the money.

What a cool guy. Don’t you just love him?

So, anyway, down to the really good stuff:

A modern day Robin Hood, if you will (without the whole stealing part), Buzi describes himself as “a member of the richest one per cent in the United States”, and has confirmed his next drop will be in our very own Málaga this Saturday!

Translated to – “Spain: Malaga on Saturday is confirmed! Media get in touch with us for more details or interviews”

We think he’s just awesome. Such a refreshing, selfless and fun way to ‘give back’, stay tuned to his Twitter feed for more information and clues about the whereabouts of the cash closer to the time!
