Eva’s back! US beauty Longoria spotted strolling around Marbella

Last year she spent the summer frolicking under the shimmering sun aboard a luxurious yacht moored metres offshore, but this year former Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria got a little more up-close-and-personal during her trip to Marbella.

In what appears to be becoming a regular jaunt, the US beauty, 41, stepped out with her new husband José ‘Pepe’ Bastón in Marbella’s Old Town on Tuesday, snapping pictures, smiling and generally taking in the atmosphere of one of the Costa del Sol’s most treasured gems…

Dressed in demure summer attire, the actress looked at ease as she strolled the tight cobbled streets with her beau, whom she married in Mexico in May. The Marbella trip is thought to be part of the pair’s extended honeymoon, and the couple certainly looked happy as they held hands and linked arms during their walk around town.

However, Longoria’s main reason for being in town was to reprise her role as host of the Global Gift Gala, which is a non-profit organisation based in Marbella that focuses on making a positive impact on the lives of women, children and families around the world.

The summer is the perfect time to go celeb-spotting in and around Marbella and Puerto Banús, with the region a hot favourite among Hollywood A-listers, Premier League stars and world-renowned musicians thanks to its beautiful scenery, excellent climate and dazzling array of top-class restaurants, clubs, bars and boutiques.
