According to the latest data from Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE), and published last week, no fewer than 15,185 property transactions were recorded in the province of Málaga in the first six months of this year…
Equating to a 10.9% increase on figures for the same period in 2016, this puts Málaga in fourth place nationally, after Madrid, Barcelona and Alicante. At a regional level, a third of all properties sold in Andalucía – which comprises the provinces of Málaga, Granada, Almeria, Jaén, Córdoba, Sevilla, Cádiz and Huelva – were in Málaga province, which of course includes the ever-popular Costa del Sol.
