The Cudeca Cancer Hospice based in Benalmádena is truly a lifeline for residents of the Costa del Sol. Founded in 1992 by Joan Hunt MBE, Cudeca – whose mission statement is “to give life to days” – have provided their very special kind of care to more than 7,000 patients and their families over the past two decades, thanks to their dedicated team of doctors, physiologists, nurses and volunteers.

A registered charity, Cudeca’s home care visits, in-patient unit, day care centre, physiotherapy, counselling and psycho-social programmes are all totally free of charge and their annual Sunflower Campaign takes place this year from 9 to 24 June, when dozens of volunteers will once more be taking to the streets of major towns and villages throughout the province of Málaga to raise both awareness and much-needed funds.

Please give what you can.
