Marbella hosted one of Spain’s most hotly anticipated charity events over the weekend, duly drawing an even more dazzling array of stars to the Costa del Sol than the region normally hosts.
A welcome cocktail party for the event was held on Friday at the glamorous La Sala nightclub, which attracted former Boyzone star and current judge on smash TV show The Voice Ronan Keating and his new wife, Storm…
Also in town for the glitzy bash were Made in Chelsea’s Ashley Williams, TV presenter Olivia Cox and former popstar and X Factor judge Alesha Dixon, who cut a demure figure at the Global Gift Gala dinner held at the Gran Meliá Don Pepe hotel in Marbella the following evening.
James Nesbitt, the Irish star of smash TV series Cold Feet, was another famous face strutting his stuff on the red carpet to celebrate the work of the foundation, which aims to create a positive impact on the lives of children, women and families around the world who are in need.
Keating, 39, also found time to pair up with Nesbitt for a round of golf at the Estepona Golf Club for the Global Gift Golf sideshow, before performing for the crowds during the evening bash, which was hosted by Spanish actress María Bravo, who also founded the philanthropic charity.
In recent years the foundation’s bash has proven adept at pulling in the big stars. Past events have seen Victoria Beckham, Antonio Banderas, singer Ricky Martin and actress Eva Longoria (who is also an honorary chair of the Foundation) strut their stuff on the red carpet to raise awareness of the charity’s good work.
