Forty yoga devotees were the first to experience the benefits of one of the world’s fastest-growing exercise trends – Hot Yoga, at Radiant Yoga Marbella’s recent Open Day.
Now open for business in Nueva Andalucía, the light and spacious purpose-built studio is unique in the area. Owned and managed by well-known multilingual yoga teachers and health professionals, Radiant Yoga Marbella offers a complete programme of yoga classes six days a week…
Significantly, it is the first yoga facility in the area to offer Hot Yoga, widely considered to be one of the most effective yoga disciplines in terms of boosting health and fitness levels. The specially conditioned studio features inviting bamboo flooring, full-length windows with stunning views of Marbella’s landmark La Concha mountain, and state-of-the-art infrared panels that direct heat to the body rather than the room. Reaching a temperature of approximately 36 degrees, and 50 per cent humidity, the pervading heat facilitates the yoga postures.
To celebrate the launch, the three founders of Radiant Yoga Marbella – Ariane Pieper, Lori Sjollema and Marjan Looije – threw open the doors to their bright and dynamic studio to invite the public in to enjoy a range of yoga classes free of charge. Throughout the day yoga devotees and new converts alike sampled Vinyasa, Anusara and hot yoga classes, as well as kid’s yoga and shopping for yoga clothes, while healthy drinks and snacks were served on the solarium terrace. Not surprisingly, many people took the opportunity to sign up for the fantastic introductory offers there and then.
