As part of an increasing number of ‘leisure flights’ operating from London City Airport, British Airways has recently added Málaga to its list of sunshine destinations, with three new flights each week, all year-round. Launched just last month, it comes as no surprise that the service is already proving to be hugely popular both with expats and owners of holiday homes on the Costa del Sol, and it’s also coming in nice and handy for City workers keen to get away from it all for a long, lazy weekend.
The route is being operated by shiny brand new Embraer 170 and 190 aircraft, and with flights on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday, whether you want to nip back home on business, to visit the sales, watch your favourite team battle it out at the Oval or the Emirates Stadium, or maybe take in a gig at The O2, it couldn’t be better.
If you’ve already flown the AGP-LCY route – or are planning to – what did you think of it?
