Hollywood’s hottest couple – Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher – were recently snapped enjoying traditional sherry and the hot Spanish sun in Andalucía’s Jerez de la Frontera.

The stars are currently in Europe while Kunis, 29, films in London. But while the British capital may provide Blockbusting backdrops and A-list comfort, the weather just isn’t reliable enough for this naturalised Californian…

So, with beau Kutcher, 35, in tow, the pair took time off from shooting in order to explore one of southern Spain’s most beguiling cities. Snapped enjoying an al fresco glass each of Jerez’s most famous export – sherry – the pair were understandably miffed when the local paparazzi sniffed them out.

Later, Kutcher and Kunis found sanctuary in a nearby winery, flashing relaxed smiles for onlookers as they clutched a bottle of local plonk.

The Hollywood pair have evident good taste. While Europe teems with attractions for American acting royalty, the obvious destinations of Monaco, St Tropez, Paris, Ibiza and Puerto Banús are rather high profile, particularly if the stars are seeking a bit of down time.

A secret jaunt to an often-overlooked corner of southern Spain, on the other hand, was probably just the ticket for these lovestruck stars.

Sure, they got papped, but that’s a relatively small price to pay for being able to enjoy the splendour of one of Spain’s – and Andalucía’s – best-kept secrets.
