Already an accomplished national and European champion and member of the Spanish national sea kayak team, he won the Eurochallenge Surfski & Kayak challenge in Alicante in 2014, and just last month was not only named best individual sportsman over the last two years at the IX Gala del Deporte Local (IX Local Sports Gala) in Nerja, but was also proclaimed Canoe Class European Sea Kayaking Champion.
